Weekend in MO

Last weekend we took a mini-vacation to Branson/Springfield, MO with the Borens. Saturday we took the kids to White Water. It was Lila's first time to go and she loved it! I think she would have gone down the water slide all day if we hadn't made her stop to eat and rest.

After a day at the water park, we took the Borens to Ozark for antique shopping and dinner at Lambert's. If you like having your dinner rolls thrown at you, then you'll love Lambert's! It's all down home cookin', which is Aaron's favorite type of food.

Then Sunday we went to Aunt Martha's (our favorite spot for breakfast) and Bass Pro to finish off our weekend. Aaron helped Lila pick out her first fishing pole. Then we spent the rest of the morning climbing on boats and watching all of the fish and turtles.

When it cools off a bit (maybe 80 degree weather) we plan on going back to Springfield. We want to show Lila the rest of our favorite places, but they are all outdoors and this 100 degree weather is for the birds!
