Lila and I cut through the mall parking lot on our way to daycare so that we can avoid 4 traffic lights. Apparently, JC Penney is doing some remodeling and has a lot of construction workers coming and going. A week or so ago Lila saw a worker in the parking lot and asked me what he was doing. I replied, “It looks like he’s picking up a mess”.
Funny:
This morning as we drove past JCP…
Lila: “Mom, he’s picking up a mess."
Me: “He is? I don’t see anyone.”
Lila: “He said uh-oh skettios!”
Me: laughing “He did?”
Lila: “Yep”
