Lila, it is time for your 4 month update...2 weeks late! Friday we went for your wellness check up and you did great! The first thing the dr. said when she walked in and saw you was comment on your big beautiful eyes. (That is a compliment you might as well get used to hearing because I know you will hear it for the rest of your life. It tends to run in your family!)
I was not planning on getting your shots since you had been sick the better part of the week, but the dr. assured me it would be okay. I was very thankful that daddy was there with us because needles make me so nervous, but I am very proud to say you took your shots like a champ! You barely even shed a tear this time. I must say it was a much more pleasant experience compared to the 2 month shots!
Here are your stats or accomplishments so far:
- 13 lbs 3.5 oz - 25th %tile
- 24 1/4 in. long - 45th %tile
- 16.06 in. head - 50th %tile
- you are a very happy baby and smile all the time
- you like to stick your tongue out when you smile
- you love grabbing your feet,
- rolling on your side,
- blowing bubbles
- and you can pull your pacifier out and put it back in on your own
(P.S. Any time you want to slow down and stop growing for a while would be just fine with momma!)

Lila Bug... mommy told me how good you were at your check up! You are such a pretty little thing and growing so fast. It feels like yesterday I was awaiting your arrival and now you show Auntie Dee that Big beautiful smile all the time! I love you sweet girl and can't wait for your next milestones!
