First let me just say that I am now convinced that Lila's sleeping 11 hrs Monday was definitely just a gift for my birthday, because she was right back to her old routine of waking up at 2:30 and 4:00 a.m. this morning! Oh well, I will always remember Monday night and hope that one day that will become her new routine!
Now for Lila's story - When I walked into daycare this afternoon to pick her up, a new mom who I had not yet met was also picking up her baby. As Miss Abby brought Lila over to me the mom said, "So she is your baby! She is always so happy!" And of course Miss Abby chimed in that she agreed. Then as Lila and I were about to walk out the door, another mom came in and saw Lila in her car seat. That mom stopped me and said, "She is just the happiest baby. Every time I see her she is just so happy." Of course I responded, "Well that makes me so happy to hear!" These moms probably don't see Lila for more than 5 minutes a day but they have formed the same opinion of her. I love to know that she has such a cheerful demeanor during the day and especially when I cannot be with her... although it also makes me want to be with her even more! Funny how that works!

I've seen Lila in her daycare setting, and she was happy as she could be that day too. It's clear she has the teachers wrapped around her widdle finger. Lila, I hope you always keep that smile on your sweet face.
Love,
Nana
It's true - I had lunch with Lila at play school yesterday - she was so happy that she burped twice for me and shared some spit-up!
She did all of that with a HUGE smile on her face.
Love you little girl - Nene
PSs - see you tonight Nana!
I'm so happy we get to share Lila with Nene and Poppy. That little girl will have no doubt she is loved by many.
Enjoyed dinner tonight with The Gang. Thanks for sharing dessert with me, Nene.
