Lila's 4th Birthday

It still doesn't sound right, but my baby girl has turned 4 years old!  I know every mom says it, but I cannot believe how quickly the time has gone by.  We had Lila's party at Boingo Bounce this year.  (Easy for  a pregnant mommy and fun for the kids!)  I have a few pics to share, but first I wanted to share a few of my favorite moments or memories of the past month or two.

  • Aaron and I were in the kitchen one night getting dinner prepared.  Lila walked into the kitchen and said, "Mommy, is there anything that I can help you with?"  We about fell over because of how grown up and polite she sounded!
  • Lila has officially moved out of her old bedroom (it will stay a nursery) and into her new "big girl" bedroom.  The very first night she was a little afraid to sleep in her former playroom, but she's been sleeping 10+ hrs a night ever since.  I left a cd player in the room and now she loves to just sit on her bed and sing to her music. (Definitely gives me flash forwards of having a teenager!)
  • Almost every morning before school Lila goes into our bedroom and shouts "Do not come in here!" Then a few minutes later she'll say, "Okay, close your eyes and come here.  I have a surprise for you!"  She has pulled up the covers to make our bed.  (Now, if I can only get her to make her own bed!)

Party Pictures

Lila wanted a princess themed cake (designed by the little princess herself), so we got Princess and Prince Charming cookies to give to all of her guests.

Lila and Cameron were best buds when they were in the same toddler class.  Her mom just had a second girl 4 months ago and has been so sweet to get to know as well.

 Zoe, Ava, Rhyan & Harper

 Cameron, Nikole & Olivia

 Macy & Aurora
Lila & Brenner

This is baby Sarah that Lila specially requested from her Nene & Poppy.  On the way home Lila was adamant that she hold baby Sarah AND her balloons.  About 5 minutes down the road, we heard Lila bluntly say to herself, "Maybe this was a bad idea".  Aaron & I busted out laughing because we had warned her the balloons wouldn't stay out of her face, but we decided to let her learn the hard way!

Happy 4th Birthday sweet girl!!

Enjoyed seeing all the princes and princesses. They were so well behaved. Our little princess is getting so big. She's such a pleasure to be around. And I'm not a bit biased.
