Day 1 ~ Lila's daycare hosted a Mother's Day brunch on Saturday. They had smoked salmon on cucumber, yummy little sandwiches, and some fun finger foods for the kiddos. Then each of the children had artwork they had made in class that they gave to their mom as a gift.
The brunch was also a fundraiser for the school's new playground. The turnout was so great that we had to be a little bit patient to get our food. I was so proud of Lila at how calm and patient she was the entire time. It was a little bit later than her usual meal time, but she made her momma proud!

We invited Nana to join us too!

Day 2 ~ My mom, sister and I (and the kiddos) went out for Sunday brunch at Emelia's Mediterranean Cafe on Dickson St in Fayetteville. They have wonderful eggs benedict! We also got to see the annual Joe Martin Stage Race. Lila loved watching all of the cyclists race by!

I can't believe how big my baby is getting!
