2 Year Stats

Lila Grace, you are officially two years old and considered a toddler, but it is so hard for Mommy to quit calling you her baby!

At your 2 year check up you were:

almost 25 lbs ~ 25th %tile

approx 33 in tall ~ 50th %tile

Every stage of your development just seems more fun to Mommy and Daddy. We laugh at how much you comprehend and remember things now. You just amaze us every day. Some of the things are doing now:

Count to 10 by yourself

Count to 10 in Spanish (with assistance)

Sing your ABC's (you can get A-G unassisted)

I have completely lost track of how many words you can say, but you speak in 3-5 word sentences. And you love to repeat EVERYTHING right now!

You love to help with anything. As soon as you see Mommy get out a cookbook, you start pulling your chair over to the counter to help.

You are developing a sense of independence. You will often say, "Lila do it"

You love to be outside! The first 30-45 minutes after we get home are spent outside making your daily trek around the backyard with Daisy and playing fetch.

You are doing a very good job at potty training so far, but have not made the final transition out of diapers.

You have started taking showers and you love to just stand there let the water run down your back.

You are obsessed with pointing out school buses, semi trucks and trash trucks every morning on our drive to school.

Your favorite color of the moment is yellow.

You love to play with jewelry and have your own special drawers in Mommy's jewelry armoire.
