No More Rooms at the Coble Inn

Aaron and I finally decided that since we had 2 guest bedrooms and only have over night guests no more than 10 times a year... and since Lila pulls out all of her toys 365 days a year... We thought it might be a good idea to convert one of the bedrooms to a playroom for Lila.

We both had 2 weeks of vacation from work this Christmas, so Aaron and I dedicated a couple of days to painting and moving furniture. Lila seems to be very pleased with our decision and Aaron and I feel like we now have organized chaos instead of just chaos!

The furniture in this room was the first bedroom suite my great-grandparents ever purchased. It is at least 75 years old, so we stored it away with much care.

The new mural in Lila's playroom. This was so fun and easy to install!

Lila really liked it!

We spent all day today playing in this monkey tent she got for Christmas from the Borens.

My brother painted this for Lila in an art class he took in NYC. I think it goes perfectly with the playroom, don't you? : )

It is a lovely playroom. Lila will enjoy it. I thought the tent looked more like a giant mouse! Very cute.
