Lila's 1st Christmas Program

Lila had her first Christmas program at the First Baptist Church in Fayetteville. I really love Lila's daycare and all the activities they offer for their kids. I know that Lila is very loved at LLPA and I can't wait to see what new things she will experience next.

I was a little nervous how Lila would do since the Christmas program didn't start until 7:00 p.m., which is her bedtime. My baby girl never ceases to amaze me.. or should I say prove me wrong! : ) Lila did great! She did not run like crazy all over the stage, she did not cry. She did all her hand motions and even danced a bit! At the end of the very last song she finally saw me in the crowd. Her whole face lit up, she pointed right at me and yelled "Mommy!" It melted my heart! I was a very proud momma!

Nana, Papa, Nene and Poppy were all there to cheer Lila on.

During the 1st song most of the kids looked like they were about to fall asleep.
By the second song many of them started to remember their hand motions.

Lila loved getting up to dance

She even ventured out to sit on the steps with the big kids. Poor Poppy was nervous at one point that she was going to take a tumble, but she did great!

Lila ventured out to the step because she was trying to snag her a jingle bell! When she spotted Papa and smiled at him, I thought Papa's face was going to split open as he was smiling so big!
