Christmas in Mtn Home

By our 4th Christmas I was very detached from the camera, but I did manage to capture a few pictures. We traveled Christmas day to Mtn Home to see my dad's side of the family. Since she was the only grandchild there, Lila was spoiled rotten.

One of Lila's favorite things to do at Grandpa's house is running to the grandfather clock every time it chimes and yell "clock, clock!" Lila also learned to say her Aunt Holly's name this trip, so every time she wanted her all we would hear was "Olly, Olly, Olly" (she couldn't say it just one time). It sounded almost like a yodel. Too cute!

Eating her great-grandma's fruitcake for the 1st time.

It is a tradition for my grandmother to make a mini fruitcake for each member of our family every Christmas. My great-grandmother used to do the same thing when she was alive.

Great Grandmother Johnson would've been proud to see Lila enjoying fruitcake.
