9 Month Well Baby Visit

Lila, your 9 month wellness visit went very well. Mommy was so proud of you! This was the visit where you had to have 2 tubes of blood drawn to make sure that your iron levels were good. You didn't cry or even flinch as the nurse drew your blood. We just sang the "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and you hung on to your blanket and watched quietly. You also had to get two shots this visit, but you only cried for about 30 seconds and then you were over it. You are so much better at taking shots than your mommy!

Your stats at 9 months are:

• Weight: 16.1 lbs (7th %tile)
• Length: 27 1/4 in (35th %tile)
• Head: 17 1/4 in (45th %tile)
• and the Dr. couldn't resist saying that your eyes were in the 99th %tile!
