Okay, really I love every time of day with Lila, but lately I think I can say my top two favorite times are when I wake her up in the morning and when I pick her up from day care in the afternoon. Both times she greets me with the biggest smile and there is just nothing better in this world than that smile!

I forget sometimes how alert and aware Lila is of her surroundings. She was jumping in the jumperoo at daycare when I arrived to pick her up this afternoon, so she did not see me walk in the room. I started talking with one of the teachers as I was signing Lila out and when I looked over to see her again she had stopped jumping and was turned around smiling at me. When I picked her up she grabbed my face and squealed at me. I just love how a child knows its mother and loves her unconditionally. There truly is no greater feeling!
