Lila Grace, today you are 5 months old. I know I say it all the time, but I cannot believe how quickly time has flown by! Everyday you do something that just amazes your daddy and I. Our lives have changed so much since you arrived and now we cannot imagine life without you.
I've already bragged on you for rolling over last weekend. You are also in the beginning stages of learning how to eat solid foods. So far you have just been practicing taking a spoon with just enough rice cereal to taste (completely watered down), but you are such a fast learner! On the second night of practicing you started opening wide when you would see the spoon coming your way. I can't wait to see what new things you will learn next!

Now I am off to my first mandatory parents meeting at your school....
Update: So I ended up having two parents meetings this week. The first was to discuss a parent's proposal to increase tuition by adding a maintenance fee for each child. This would have increased our tuition by over $260/yr. Fortunately, the parents voted down this proposal and will instead donate their time to work on whatever projects the school has.
The second meeting was Lila's first parent teacher conference. Yes, even the infants have PTC at Lila's school! Anyway, it lasted a whole 30 seconds. Just long enough for Miss Liz to say that Lila was doing perfect and we didn't need to change a thing! Funny that we had to schedule conversation, but I thought it was kind of cute!
