Sick Bugs in the Coble House

We have been fighting off some little sick bugs in our house for over a week now. The Sunday before last Lila woke up with a snotty nose and goopy eye. Three days later she wound up throwing up and had to stay home from daycare, so we got in some quality "mommy & me" time Thursday & Friday. We spent the weekend trying to get her re-hydrated and back to making "normal" diapers. (Lila Grace, I'm sorry but this part is for your momma's documentation) After 4 1/2 days Lila finally had a dirty diaper! Praise the Lord! I did not want to have to take her up to see the doctor amongst all the kids that were sick with the flu.

This past weekend I started feeling bad, but fortunately got over it in a day. Now Aaron has been fighting some sort of stomach bug for the past two days. Poor guy has not been able to get too close to Lila for the last two nights because I will not let him breathe on her. I like to think I'm not too bad in the "overbearing 1st time mom" department, but I have to draw the line somewhere! I don't want Lila getting sick if we can help it!

After two straight days at home we were getting cabin fever, so we decided to brave the 45 degree cold and go down the road to see Nana.


Lila has become quite the cuddle bug these days and I LOVE it!
