For the past few years I have taken my mom to brunch for Mother's Day. This year we went to a new restaurant called Savor. It used to be the Coolwater Cafe. I must say for their brunch they have the best french toast I have ever had. I highly recommend it! At the end of the meal, the waitstaff brought a white rose to each mother. That was my first official flower for Mother's Day.
For dinner we had Aaron's mom and John (a.k.a. Nene & Poppy) over for a steak dinner. We always enjoy having them over for a visit. Unfortunately, we don't get to do it very often. Something tells me with Lila's arrival we might be seeing a bit more of them though! : )
