Lila Stories

I am full of Lila stories from today.

5:00 p.m.
I walk in to Lila's class to pick her up.

Lila: "Mommy, I cut my sock!"

Her teacher quickly explains during scissor skills time Lila took off her sock and decided to see if her scissors would work on them like they do on paper.

Me: "Are we supposed to use scissors to cut socks?"

Three of Lila's friends chime in to say "No! We use paper!"

Lila: "Mommy I'm ready to go! Bye boy Cameron!"

Boy Cameron: "Bye Lila! Don't cut your scissors at your house!"

6:30 p.m.

Lila and I had been playing catch with Daisy and her bone. Lila took Daisy's bone and started running around the house so Daisy would chase her. I finally suggested she let Daisy have the bone for a minute so that she wouldn't lose interest in their game.

5 seconds later...

Lila: "Daisy are you ready to chase me yet?"

7:30 p.m.

Lila: "I don't want to sleep in a pull-up tonight. I want to sleep in big girl panties!"

She has been completely potty trained except for at night time where she has not consistently stayed dry all night.  Fingers crossed we don't wake up to wet sheets in the morning!

I can't believe how quickly you are growing up Lila Grace!
