#1. Friday night we got our first boat ride on Nene & Poppy's boat. We rode over to a little restaurant for dinner and then fireworks on the lake. Lila really seemed to enjoy playing on the boat and blowing raspberries at Poppy. She also surprised us by not being afraid of the loud fireworks.
Don't worry, we waited until we were safely docked to take off Lila's life jacket. She absolutely hated wearing it!
#2. Saturday and Sunday evenings we went out to the Bullington lake house to enjoy family & friends company and, as always, good food! Everyone should have a place like the lake house in their lives. It is a place where very little TV or internet exists. The kids run and play as hard as they possibly can. Somehow even the food tastes better! We are very grateful to the Bullington family for always making us feel welcome at their special retreat.
Yes, Emma & Lucy are sharing a pair of shoes as they play in the coolers. Too cute!
This little girl ate everything in sight!
#3. Sunday afternoon we went over to Nana & Papa's house for a cookout. Lila always has so much fun at their house. They have a cat named Bazel that is as big as she is and he lets her pet him to her hearts content. Lila also got to play with her big cousin Gray. He is always so patient and gentle with her. We also got to see Miss Olivia who has already grown so much in her first 8 weeks of life!

My goodness, Lila, you certainly know how to celebrate a holiday! I'm glad you helped Nana celebrate as well. It was so much fun watching you eat and eat and EAT! You come by that appetite naturally. That picture of you with your mouth wide open pretty much sums up the weekend. I love the picture of you with your cousins, Gray & Ethan. You look like such a big girl!
We loved spending time with you guys this weekend. Lila I can't believe how big you have gotten over the last year.
Thanks for sharing part of your 4th weekend with us - we had a GREAT time! Ms. Lila - Nene is amazed at how much food your tiny little tummy can hold! Love you guys bunches.
