We celebrated Lila Grace's 1st birthday at JB Hunt Park. It is a special place to our little family. The park is just a few blocks from our house and has a really nice 3 mile trail. Aaron & I used to go on walks there when I was pregnant. It is also where we take Lila to walk around Springdale lake and to see the ducks.
I was so thankful that for once I was able to plan an outdoor event and have sunshine instead of rain (If you were at our wedding, then you know what I'm talking about)! Just to keep me humble though God made sure to bless us with a lot of wind to go with all that sunshine!
Lila's party was ladybug themed. I am sad to say that I cannot even remember how I came up with the nickname Lila-Bug, but I have called her that almost since day 1. So when I saw hot pink & lime green ladybug party decorations I knew that was going to be Lila's party theme. And she had the cutest ladybug shaped smash cake to go with it!
We were so happy to celebrate this very special occasion with our family and very dear friends. Thank you to everyone for all of your love and support through Lila's first year of life! It has been an amazing journey with you Lila Grace! I cannot wait to see what this next year has in store for you!

Lila, you sure do have lots of people that love you lots and lots! It has been so much fun watching you grow this first year. Nana can't wait to see all your new accomplishments this year.
