Lila has taken her first steps all by herself! Aaron had been in Iowa for training all week last week. Even though we didn't discuss it, I know we were both hoping that she would wait for him to get home so we could both see her walk for the first time together. Well, she did just that! Isn't she considerate?
The three of us were playing in the floor when Aaron suggested I get out the video camera to capture the intense face Lila was making while shaking her Easter eggs. Within a minute of hitting the record button she let go of the couch and started walking!
Of course, I couldn't wait to get to daycare on Monday to inform her teacher that Lila had taken her first steps. Guess what? I was informed that she had done the same thing at school on Friday! Ha! So I guess we didn't get her official "first" steps on film. But I at least got our witness to her first steps on film!

Big girl! I got to see Miss Lila walk today at playschool. I stopped for a visit - she was happy to see me.
Way to go, Lila! You will keep your mommy and daddy running to keep up with you. And, Nene, I'm always happy to see you too! :-D
I can't believe your baby is already walking! It seems like just yesterday that she was born. I wish these kids would quit growing up!
