Busy Hands

Lila, your hands have become so busy this past week! You are grabbing at everything. You have discovered how to (intentionally) pull on the toys on your bouncy seat to make them play music. Miss Liz told me that one day you were in the frog bouncy seat at day care and made the frog sing so much that they had to move you to another bouncy seat just so they could listen to a different song for a while! You have also discovered your feet. So far they have not made their way to your mouth yet.

Another day care story - People ask me if it is hard to leave you at day care everyday, and this is why I can say it is not so hard... Friday morning as I'm getting you out of your car seat, Miss Abby came over to take you from me. She hadn't seen you in two days and just couldn't believe how much you had grown. She took you in her arms and you instantly smiled at her. She told you good morning and tickled you under your chin and you let out the biggest laugh. She said she felt so bad tickling you because she doesn't like to be tickled herself, but she just loves to hear your laugh so much that she can't help herself! It makes me feel good to know that they find joy in all of the little things that you do.

Shaking one of your rattles.

You can't decide whether to grab your feet or suck on your fingers. (From my camera phone)

Lila, you are growing like the proverbial weed! Nana is glad to hear how much you like daycare and happy the teachers are so good to you. I hope you always enjoy school as you grow up.
Love you,
Nana

Oh my goodness Lila, you're getting so long. You get prettier with every new picture I see of you.
