Lila - You finally got to meet your cousins Gray and Ethan this weekend when they came to help babysit. One of my managers at work is moving to California and Aunt Tina offered to babysit. She especially had to bring Ethan to meet you because he still thought you were in mommy's belly, even though Aunt Tina had been showing him pictures of you.
Daddy and I went to the Welch's house to say farewell to Mary Hamm. She is transferring with P&G to California so I know we will stay in touch, but I am still going to miss her a great deal. Mary has been an amazing coach and mentor to me and I wish her all the best!

Saturday was a big day! It was cousin Lawson's 7th birthday party. Unfortunately, we were not able to make it to his party because the last bit of flooring was finally being laid in our living room. (Yes, it has only taken 7 weeks to finish!) Nene came by after the birthday party and sewed adorable bows on to Lila's bumper pads so she could move in to her big girl bed. While Lila could probably fit in the bassinet that Aunt Laura loaned us for a few more weeks, she squirms so much in her sleep that the whole thing shakes and ends up waking her up. So Saturday night was Lila's first time to sleep through the night in her crib, and she has been sleeping soundly in it ever since! Thank you Nene!
Saturday was also Daddy's last day as a Springdale police officer. He has worked for the city of Springdale for 4 1/2 years. It was a little bittersweet for him to leave the city he has served and protected as well as the friends he has made, but we are both excited about his new job with Bentonville Police Dept.
Sunday we went over to the Boren's to celebrate both of our August wedding anniversaries. Brenner was so much fun (constantly on the go!) and very graciously let Lila borrow his bouncy seat. The guys manned the grill, DeAnna did the potatoes, salad and garlic bread, and I played with the babies!

So glad you liked your news bed bows Lila!
You are the busiest baby I know - your dance card is always full.
Love you guys.
Nene
I love your hair cut!
Taylor told me tonight that he hopes that his daddy and uncle Aaron (dressed in his uniform) will come have lunch with him at this new school. How cool would that be for a Kindergartener?
Lila is getting so very big – she will be starting kindergarten soon, so enjoy ever minute that you have her. Love you bunches, Laura
ana good job you did helping with the Kiddos!
I have that top pic of Lila in Brenner's bouncy seat as my desktop photo at work, so every time I see my desktop, it's Lila waving at me! haha I just know that's what she's doing. :-D
