Our Weekend

This weekend we had family in town from Jonesboro. Aaron and I always enjoy hanging out with Shanna & Michael. They are such great reminders of how you can set and stick to the rules in parenting, but still have a blast with your kids. They always have such a positive energy! Aaron & I continue to mentally take notes from our family and friends on how they are successfully raising their families. Thank you everyone for being such inspirations!

This afternoon Nene and Poppy came over to help finish putting together the nursery. Nene brought the finished bumper pads and a trim for the window shade. Then Poppy and Nene helped to re-arrange the nursery furniture since Aaron & I are both under weightlifting restrictions. We are so incredibly grateful for their help! Once I get Lila's nursery letters, the nursery will finally be ready for guests at our shower next weekend.
