At my 39 week check up, Dr Duke walked in and said "Are you ready to have this baby?" I couldn't say "Yes!" fast enough.
This week's stats: still 3 cm, 90% effaced, still at -2 station.
This pregnancy hasn't been that difficult in the grand scheme of things, but I have definitely been more uncomfortable in the last few weeks than I ever remember with Lila. I am ready to get little Emerson out into the world and get started on this next chapter in our lives. Dr Duke offered to induce on Monday if I don't go into labor over the weekend, and I gladly accepted. So Emerson Rose should for sure be here by Monday, August 12th!!
