37 Week Check Up

I've now dilated 2.5 cm, 70% effaced and Emerson has begun to drop.  (I still have 5 days left to work before starting my maternity leave... will I make it??)

When I got back to work and gave my manager an update she ordered me to work my last 4-5 days from home v. coming in to the office.  At first I was a little hesitant because I wasn't feeling too uncomfortable, but then I came to my senses and said, "Okay!"  I had progressed this far at 39 weeks with Lila, and then went into labor the day of my 40 week check up.  If there was any chance I would be having this baby in a week I was happy to spend a few days at home by myself, even if I did have a laptop in front of me.

I'm so excited that Lila's Big Sis gift has arrived!  She LOVES baby dolls and stuffed animals that she also calls her babies.  Everyday before school she selects which baby gets to ride with us in the car.  I thought it would be cute to get her own diaper bag set to carry around with her just like Mommy, so she can take care of her babies where ever we go.  It has a cloth diaper, changing pad and wipe case.  I've also pulled out some old burp cloths and bibs that have Lila's name embroidered on them to use as well.  I hope she likes it!
