For Aaron's birthday this year he asked for a quiet dinner at home with just his girls. I didn't blame the poor guy. Between being 6 weeks into a new job and going to school, Aaron also had been taking care of Lila with little help from me for almost two weeks. (I was down and out from gum surgery one week, and out of town for work the next week.) Thank goodness for Nene and Nana for their help as well!
So Lila and I went to Richard's Meat Market and selected the biggest bacon wrapped filet mignon they had for Aaron and an Italian stuffed pork chop for Lila and I. Then we went to Cold Stone and got Aaron a raspberry cheesecake ice cream birthday cake. We finished off the evening playing outside in the sprinkler.
