2011 in Review

Aaron and I were saying just the other night that 2011 has, by far, been the fastest year of our lives.  I don't know how each year manages to go by faster than the last, but I sure wish time would slow down just a little bit.

2011 happenings:
  • Lila began potty training in March before she turned 2 thanks to the help of her school.  She now only requires training pants at sleep time.  (I can't believe how quickly we have become accustomed to not buying diapers anymore!)
  • We put our house on the market for a trial run to see if we could sell it and move closer to Bentonville.  (Thank goodness we decided to take it off the market and try again in a few years.  It is stressful for me to think of strangers walking through my house.)
  • Lila turned 2 years old in May (how can this have happened already?!)
  • Aaron and I took a trip to NYC to celebrate us both turning 30.  (Again, how is it possible we are no longer 20-somethings??)
  • Aaron completed his first year as the school resource officer for both Bentonville Jr Highs.  He is now in his second year of his assignment and has already made such an impact on so many students' lives.
  • I took a new role at P&G in category management.  This work has been a much needed change for me and will hopefully continue to bring me new opportunities with this awesome company.
  • Aaron completed his education at NWACC and began classes at JBU.  He is hoping to complete his bachelor's degree in the next 12-14 months.
We are all looking forward to what 2012 will bring us!
