I didn't take a ton of pictures this year for Thanksgiving. I opted to just relax and enjoy the fact that we only had 1 dinner time to plan for. The entire week was pretty relaxing actually. Sunday we had a dinner and play date with Nene and Poppy before they headed to Kansas City. Monday, Aaron and I went to a Thanksgiving lunch at Lila's school. (She was so proud to be one of only two kids who had BOTH of their parents attend.) Tuesday, Aaron went hunting and I made a quick shopping trip up to Branson. Then, Wednesday I spent the morning at the spa getting a facial, body wrap and foot massage (thanks Momma!), while Aaron took Lila to Chuck-E-Cheese for a Daddy/Daughter lunch date.
Thanksgiving dinner was at my mom's this year since Aaron's parents were out of town. The weather was awesome in the 60's. After dinner, everyone went for a walk down to the lake while mom and I cleaned the kitchen.
Lila helped me make the green bean casserole this year.
Lila latched on to my step-sis Becky and they became instant buddies.
