Lila Grace, today you are six months old! Every day it seems like you do something new. Yesterday I discovered that you have a 3rd tooth coming in. Today you started giving kisses for the first time! It was so sweet and almost like a game to you. I would give you a kiss on the cheek and then you would open your mouth as wide as you could and then plant your face on mine. Sometimes you would get my cheek and other times my chin, but it didn't matter. I will take any kisses that you want to give out!
Last week you moved up to the next infant room. You have adapted very well to the new room and get to keep some of the same teachers. You love practicing pulling up to the sitting and then standing positions. I can't wait until your 6 month check up to see how much you have grown in the past two months!

Lila... your Mommy seems to take pleasure in torturing your Unkie Matthew. She sends me emails and pictures of food I can't have. I, like my mother, am highly susceptible to suggestion when it comes to food.
At this moment in time, I attribute at least 3 lbs of my weight to her torturous games. At least that is more of me for you to hug.
I love you Lila and so does your Aunt DeAnna (as well as Bella Josephine and Klaus).
